Experience echolocation like a bat! Using EchoVision bat masks (featured at SXSW XR), scream and watch the environment bounce back—just like the 1.5 million bats overhead.

Watch as Austin’s famous bats take flight from under the Congress Avenue Bridge, consuming literal tons of insect pests nightly.
🦇 Rescued Bat Release | Saturday ~7:00 PM Sunday ~8:00 PM
ABR provides an alternative to unnecessary euthanasia for injured bats. Once the viewing crowd thins, witness the release of rehabilitated bats back into the wild!

12-4 pm🦇 Live Bats – Meet rescued bats and learn about their incredible role in the ecosystem.
🍹 Bat-Pollinated Drinks & Snacks – Sip and snack on treats featuring ingredients pollinated by bats.
🏛 Historic Venue – This location was once home to the Vulcan Gas Company, the legendary psych music venue from 1961.
