Show your love for Texas bats by hosting a fundraiser for Austin Bat Refuge via I Live Here, I Give Here (Amplify Austin)!
Fundraisers will help pay for bat education events for under-served communities in our area.
Fundraisers can be hosted year-round on I Live Here, I Give Here’s site. Donations through individual fundraisers are amplified during Amplify Austin in the spring.
Individual fundraisers
If you’d like to help local bats but can’t volunteer in person, here’s how:
- Go to our page on Amplify Austin’s website.
- Click Fundraise, then follow the on-screen instructions.
- Here’s an Individual Fundraiser Toolkit you can use to get started.
Need inspiration? Our intern Kyndal hosted a fundraiser in 2017 called “Save the Skypuppies,” and she raised enough to purchase an incubator for newborn bat pups!
Big non-profits have hundreds of individual fundraisers; we’d love to have a handful!
Business fundraisers
Bring your business’s volunteer group to the Refuge to meet the bats, then collaborate on a business fundraiser for Austin Bat Refuge! Businesses can also fundraise through Amplify Austin. Learn more.
